After 2 years of routine gym going with a mate I had ballooned from 76kgs to 98kgs and managed to put on a hefty amount of body fat in the process. Having tried numerous bouts of cardio and yo-yo dieting to get myself back in shape I decided enough was enough and it was time to invest in a The ASP Team with the knowledge to get me where I wanted to be. ASP never failed to meet my expectations. From the first session with Priscilla I was left crawling out of the gym in a world of pain and fearful of the next session, but with strict nutrition, training plan adaptations and consistent guidance the results made the last 2 years look like a wasted opportunity.
My training was nothing short of intense, it was like the first time I had ever trained again, my 7 years of training stood for nothing. It was shock to my system that my body needed. Every time my I would start to get used to the exercises the training program and phases would change so it is constantly pushing my body.
It was by far the most progress I have made over the 7 years.
Mark's 12-Week Transformation
In the first 2 weeks of a general preparatory phase, I had actually lost of muscle. Having struggled to gain weight in the past, I was straight away concerned all my hard work would be wasted. However with the introduction of the subsequent hypertrophy programs, I found myself more balanced, stronger and putting on muscle at a rapid rate! The BioSignature Modulation process also ensured the training plan and nutrition was working optimally and in sync. My body fat percentage dropped from 14.8% to 7.6% over a 10-week period whilst my lean mass increased by over 4 kilograms.
- Mark had gained a significant amount of weight over the last 2 years – both muscle and fat. He had aimed for a lean, muscular physique and had tried numerous style of dieting with minimal results.
- Working with Mark was straight forward, but our main challenge was to get him to trust the process. Nutritionally, Mark had to minimize lot of the unnecessary sugars he was consuming with his foods- starches, marinates and drinks. His total calorie count was actually under what was required, so we had to ensure he made an effort to eat more, but through a variety of protein, fats and fibers.
- His workouts were kept to a maximum of an hour with an emphasis on tempo work, and muscle engagement. Utilizing shorter rest times combined with increased time under tension with each working set was key with his programs.
- This saw Mark half his bodyfat and increase his lean muscle mass by over 4 kgs – a significant change as seen by his transformation pictures
