Well, what a year! After fracturing my patella (knee) and then finding myself hospitalised for 2 weeks after abdominal surgery, all within consecutive months, things weren’t looking good. Spending the middle of the year requiring assistance to get up and off the couch was really a low point for me. If all that wasn’t enough I then spent 5 weeks traveling the USA and put excess fat. Prior to all that I considered myself fit and healthy.
It was whilst I was in my hospital bed, unable to move, that I decided to make a commitment to my health, this desire was then confirmed in my mind after returning from overseas holiday. This is when I contacted ASP. I scoured the internet and had several meetings with other gyms and coaches. I wanted to find the best in the business and ASP ticked all the boxes.
After my first meeting with The ASP Team I had already learnt so much, with clear explanations as to what I should and shouldn’t do in regards to my training, nutrition and lifestyles choices. Ben made it clear and easy. With additional advice from Coach Priscilla throughout my training sessions I was learning to train smarter and my eyes were widening to a more modern and effective way of training.
Coming from a background of playing local football and training through multiple pre-seasons with different fitness and conditioning coaches, never have I learned so much and seen so many results as I had whilst training with Priscilla. The constant variation of exercises and programs, whilst being educated with the knowledge behind these changes, kept the training interesting and I never plateaued.
Nick's 12-Week Transformation
Within a matter of weeks I was gaining strength and muscle with rapid fat loss. The intensity of the sessions also brought on increase endurance and a high level work rate. I found myself totally detached from traditional training methods and exceeding my goals each week. This was something new to me and I loved it. In total I stacked on 9.3kg of muscle mass whilst dropping my body fat from 29.3% to 16.8% in 12 weeks! The results were amazing!
The highlight of my training was definitely the facility, with a set up that is not rivalled in Melbourne. I haven’t enjoyed training anywhere as much as I have at ASP.
- Nick came to us to lose weight. He had decided to embark on a fitness journey together with his mate, to which both of them chose separate training companies to begin their transformation with.
- It was really easy working with Nick. His body just had an innate ability to change – lose fat and gain muscle in a short time. We used the Bioprint process to help establish a specific nutritional protocol for him, and tailored training around his goals of fat loss and lean muscle gain.
- This was a transformation that was straight forward, no plateaus pe se and What a change of physique in just 12 weeks!
