As a personal trainer, I had hit a plateau in my own training. For many years I suffered from high fructose malabsorption and food intolerances. That had taken a toll on my physique development, and I was not gaining muscle or losing body fat. It felt like no matter how hard I trained, I just could not make significant progress.
Training programs were highly specific and effective, transforming me into the best shape I have been in my life.
Simon's 12-Week Transformation
Switching gyms to train at the ASP centre has made a world of difference. For one, the wealth of knowledge, experience and the standard of coaches are second to none. Under The ASP Team guidance, I had in-depth nutritional plans written up for me, and was taught to eat according to what was beneficial for my body. I also carried out a gut-rebuilding protocol that did wonders for my digestion, recovery and muscle gain. My body fat percentage dropped from 19.5% to 11.7% and I made significant strength and muscle gains.
- Simon’s transformation predominantly revolved around nutrition. You see, he had disrupted gut issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, had built up numerous intolerances along the way (and this was getting worse), and had no idea what was causing constant bloating, pain and diarrhea.
- The build up of stress in his system saw him hold on to fat, have frequent headaches and not able to build muscle effectively. We had to start fro the basics, working with soothing his gut inflammation, and introducing strict gut and digestion protocols in a step wise process. Common foods that irritated his gut as identified through tests and our bioprint system, were immediately taken out and replaced with ones that didn’t.
- It wasn’t an easy process, but the with all the protocols being followed strictly, we were able to successfully reduce pain and eradicate a lot of his symptoms. Digestion improved, and so did his energy levels and body composition – drastically if I might add. Simon was now able to effectively lean up and put on a significant amount of muscle through his the training programs we wrote.
