I had been training in the gym for 5 years. Despite going through different types of workouts published in fitness websites and magazines, I found myself experiencing a plateau, restricting my goal of stacking on muscle mass despite the time and effort spent on training. That was when I decided to approach Australian Strength Performance to seek professional advice on how I should improve my training and dietary lifestyle to achieve my goals.

I was put through the ASP Evolution Program that lasted for 12 weeks, whereby a personalised training program and nutrition plan was tailored to suit my goals. On my first day training under ASP, it felt like I have never been to the gym before. My system was in complete shock during the first few training sessions. The first lower body training session had my legs shaking for the two days after.

My 5 years of ‘training’ in the gym was non-existent. Within just 2 weeks of training, I had made the same progress as I had made during the past year! It was indeed an eye-opening experience on what it means to ‘train properly’. Each time my body grew accustomed to the program’s intensity, a new training protocol was given to constantly push my body past its limits.

The BioPrint consultations were also very helpful in providing me with important details on how my body is reacting towards the training program and specific nutrition plan. The scientific approaches applied during the nutritional consultations were also very interesting to me, thus maintaining my motivation to further improve every week.

By the end of 12 weeks, in my opinion, the results achieved were phenomenal. My body fat had reduced from 17.2 % to 11%, and I had gained approximately 7.5kg of lean muscle mass. I have also become stronger and faster, with more explosive power than before. This is probably the best shape I had ever been in!

Altogether, my transformation journey with the ASP program has been a fantastic and fruitful experience – apart from learning about effective training methods and better nutritional choices, I have gained both the physical and mental strength to push myself to complete these 12 weeks.

  • Following the 12 week evolution program Xin did with us, we needed to set new goals for him as his appetite for progress was growing. New target – A Fitness model competition with the ANB in under 6 weeks!! He was already in relatively good shape, so we really just needed to accelerate this to get him there.
  • Once the goal was set and the protocols put in place, the rest was history. Small weekly tweaks with Xin’s nutrition and programming were all that was needed to lean him down. His body was conditioned and his physique crisped up like clockwork.
  • Xin placed 5th in both his Categories with the ANB: Fitness model under 30s and Fitness model Novice. Honestly a great result for a 6-week prep!
